Glenn Miller
On this date in 1904, Glenn Miller was born. The legendary bandleader studied music during high school in Fort Morgan, Colorado, and then enrolled at the University of Colorado, where he spent his time outside of class playing professional jobs in the Denver area. He later launched his own band and started a brilliant and influential career in American popular music.
